IN THE CITY COLTWIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />ORDINANCE NO. N,S, <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING ANNEXATION OF A PORTION <br />OF EAST 1471i STREET NEAR 150TH AVENUE,, UNIT NO, <br />71 <br />Whereas, the City Council of the City of San Leandro on September 26, <br />1956, on its owe inbtiative passed Resolution No,, 3032 C,M,S. and thereby <br />duly and regularly initiated proceedings to annex the hereinafter described <br />territory; and <br />Whereas, prior to the passage of the above mentioned Resolution, the <br />proposal for the annexation of the hereinafter described real property to <br />the City of San Leandro was submitted to and reported upon to the proponents <br />thereof by the Boundary Commission of Alameda County, State of California, <br />with respect to the definiteness and certainty of the proposed boundaries; and <br />Whereas, said Resolution specifically described the boundaries of the <br />territory so proposed to be annexed to this City; designated such territory <br />by an appropriate identification- contained a notice of the place, hour, and <br />day, more than 15 and less than 40 days thereafter, when and where any per- <br />son owning real property within such territory so proposed to be annexed and <br />having objections to the proposed annexation might appear before this Council <br />and show cause why such territory should not be so annexed- declared that <br />such proceedings were initiated by this City Council on its own motion; and <br />Whereas, the City Clerk of this City duly caused a copy of said Resolu- <br />tion to be published at least twice, but not oftener than once a week, in <br />a newspaper of general circulation published in the City, to -wit.- in The <br />Morning News on October 15th and 22d, 1956, and also in a newspaper of general <br />circulation published outside of the City but in the County in which is lo- <br />cated the territory proposed to be annexed, to -wit: in the Inter -City Express, <br />on October 15th and 22d, 1956, each of which aforesaid publications was com- <br />pleted at least twenty days prior to the date set for the hearing; and <br />-1= <br />
