That it will be extremely difficult, if not <br />impossible, to coordinate the policing of such traffic within the shopping <br />center within the City of San Leandro and East 14th Street, that being the <br />principal access street to such shopping center, and being in the unincor- <br />porated area, - <br />That notice is hereby given that it is proposed to annex to the City of <br />San Leandro the hereinafter described property which may be and is hereby <br />designated for identification as the "PORTION OF EAST 14TH STREET NEAR 150TH <br />AVENUE, UNIT NO. 71"; <br />r at notice is hereby further given that at 8.-15 o'clock p.m., on Monday, <br />November 19, 1956, in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, San Leandro, <br />1 , ' <br />California, any person owning real property within the boundaries of the here- <br />inafter described territory so proposed to be annexed and having any objections <br />to the proposed annexation may appear before this City Council and show cause <br />why such territory should not be annexed; <br />That at any time not later than the hour set for hearing objections to <br />the proposed annexation, any owner of property within the territory proposed <br />to be annexed may file written protest against the proposed annexation. Such <br />protest shall state the name or names of the owner or owners of the property <br />affected thereby and the description and area of such property in general terms; <br />That the territory herein referred to is uninhabited and is contiguous <br />to the present boundary line of the City; <br />That all of the territory hereinbefore mentioned and hereinafter des- <br />cribed shall, upon annexation, become part of the San Leandro Unified School <br />District, that being the school district of the City of San Leandro; <br />That the boundaries of the territory hereinabove proposed to be annexed <br />are specifically described as all that land situated in the Township of Eden, <br />County of Alameda, State of California, bounded as follows; <br />Beginning at a point on the southeastern line of 150th Avenue, as <br />said avenue now exists, at the beginning of a tangent curve concave to <br />the southeast having a radius of 50.00 feet and a central angle of 744 <br />591 4011,which curve is also tangent to the southwestern line of East <br />14th Street, as said street now exists, 100 feet wide, said point also <br />being on the City of San Leandro Boundary Line as established by Ordin- <br />ance No. 945 N.S. as per map filed October 8, 1954 in Book 32 of Maps <br />at page 38A, 39A, 40A, 41A, 42A, and 43A, Records of Alameda County, <br />California; thence southeasterly along said curve and along said City <br />Boundary Line to said southwestern line of East 14th Street; thence <br />southeasterly along the last mentioned line and along the said City <br />Boundary Line to the eastern line of lot 6, as per "Map of the Coelho <br />Tract Eden Tp. Alameda Co. California" filed December 11, 1899, in <br />Book 15 of Maps, page 100, Records of Alameda County, California; <br />
