CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />INTEROFFICE MEMO <br />TO Glenn��) DATE 6/7/72 <br />FROM MaC / �Vu� <br />SUBJECT Eden Hospital Modernization Financing - Tbis iG G„p,llamantnr�z to my mPmn of 9129/79 <br />1 Under the California Hospital Survey and Construction Act (H& S.C. §430 et seq ), <br />2 which is supplementary to the Federal Act (42 U S C A §§291. et seq & 291o), the <br />3 State provides funds to match the Federal contribution up to one-third the total cost. <br />4 Under the California Health Facility Construction Loan Insurance Law (H. & S.C. §§436 <br />5 et seq.), the State will insure 100% of indebtedness, bonded or otherwise, with interest <br />6 at market, for 30 years or 75% of the economic life of the hospital, whichever is the <br />7 lesser. The premium is .5% per annum, which may be waived after three years.
