SCHWESER
Subject: "San Leandro Industrial District Unit No. 9211
tothe City of San Leandro
This is a proposal to annex approximately 52,643 square feet of land to the
City of San Leandro. The proparty owner has consented to tte annexation and
wishes to legalize sewer services from the city.
There are no registered voters within the boundaries of the above -named
proposal. The area has an assessed valuation of $13,500 for land and $6,275
for improvements.
The Assessor points out in his report, "the area included in this proposal
is located in an unincorporated island surrounded by the City of San Leandro,
and should logically be a part of the city." The Assessor further points out
that the proposal does not appear to contain assessment parcel splits or ir-
regular tax area splits.
THEREFORE, IT IS RECOifi^`TDED:
1. That the annexation be approved, subject to correction of
the map and description, as may be required by the Director
of Public Works, ex officio County Surveyor.
2. That the City of San Leandro be authorized to proceed with-
out notice and hearing.
Very truly yours,
ROLAND MAYNE
Executive Officer
RM:hs
