Smallwood: <br />I should soon be able to prepare a statement satisfying, the re- <br />quirements of Chapter 8, Part 1, Division 2, Title 5 of the -Govern- <br />ment Code (sections 54900 et see.) as they apply to the above - <br />mentioned annexation. When we discussed the map required by <br />Government Code section 54901, you made several suggestions as to <br />how the map used in the annexation proceeding could be modified to <br />be used for this purpose. I am not certain that I fully under- <br />stood all that you told me about this modification. Thus. I'm <br />enclosing a copy of the annexation map and requesting that you <br />mark it in rough to indicate the changes the City should make in <br />the map it will submit. It is my understanding that you prefer <br />using a map that is clearly a modified version of the annexation <br />map.
