This in turn will have no <br />effect on you other than to reduce your present total tax rate by 47 <br />cents per one hundred dollars. <br />The bill you and your neighbors are paying for recreation services to <br />both the City and HARD is an obligation that you need not continue and <br />which all of your neighbors have chosen to terminate by signing con- <br />sent forms like the one enclosed. Although the outcome of this matter <br />Is of no direct concern to the City of San Leandro, we are given to under- <br />stand that ;11 of your neighbors are most anxious to proceed with the <br />withdrawal from HARD and the tax saving that this will make possible, <br />and they are unable to do so without your approval.
