DATE <br />FROM Cal Gustafson, Community Relations :-lop. <br />SUBJECT deannexation of Olive C from TWIM <br />'he City Attorney's office and I have been unable to convince <br />Mr. Louis N, Ortega that he should sign a "Consent to Detachment" <br />to withdraw from the Hayward Area recreation District. <br />I at last spoke in person with Mr. Ortega yesterday but still <br />to no avail. During the conversation fir. Ortega mentioned your name <br />and stated that if you would call him he probably would sign the <br />above -mentioned detachment document, which he has in his hands. <br />Of course if Mrs. Ortega's name appears on the deed, she should of <br />a certainty sign the consent paper. Z only mention this so that you <br />will remind Ortega. <br />Mr. Ortega argued that he would "have to see something in <br />writing, before signing."
