this Agreement is in effect. Said service charge shall commence .duly 1, <br />1963, and continue thereafter until said service charge is replaced by <br />taxes upon said property through and after annexation to the City of <br />San Leandro. !t is expressly agreed that if the aforesaid pending <br />annexation is completed as presently planned then this agreement shall <br />terminate upon sapd annexation becoming final and no payments shall <br />accrue hereunder. If, however, annexation is not completed until after <br />such payments accrue, they shall continue hereunder until equivalent <br />City taxes become payable by the Company. <br />Said service charges shall be computed by applying the then cur- <br />rent City tax rate to the valuation of all Company property herein <br />involved as shown on the assessment rolls of the County of Alameda and <br />shall be paid at the same time and manner and subject to the same pen- <br />alties for delinquency as City taxes upon similar property. <br />This Agreement may be terminated by either party upon July 1 of <br />any year upon at least four months' written notice to the other party; <br />in the event of such to~mination Company agree$ to disconnect at <br />p-,� J.
