THE ALAMEDA COUNTY BOUNDARY CON _N <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />REPORT AND RECOMMENDATION NO......... b 6........ <br />Tho K mr,m N c, Beard of Supervisors <br />Coun* ikdministaation Building <br />1221 Oak Street - Room 536 <br />Oakland, California 94612 <br />Gentlemen: <br />WHEREAS, there was submitted to the Alameda County Boundary Commission on hity 6, 1965 a <br />proposal from the City of San Leandro to annex thereto certain territory designated <br />Proposed "San Leandro Industrial District Unit No. 87 - Doolittle Drive Properties Annex;" <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Alameda County Boundary Commission did at its meeting of May 20, 1965 <br />give consideration to such proposal and did compare the proposed change in the boundaries of said District or City <br />with those of other districts or cities within the County and ascertained the extent to which overlapping or conflict- <br />ing boundaries may result from such proposal, and did consider all other factors in connection with such proposal <br />that might be inimical to the public interest; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that it is the report and recommendation of the Alameda County <br />Boundary Commission with respect to the proposal from the City of San Leandro to annex thereto <br />certain territory designated Proposed "San Leandro Industrial District Unit No. 87 - <br />Doolittle Drive Properties Annex:" <br />1. That the map and description will be considered satisfactory if corrected as shown <br />thereon in red. <br />2. That this proposal results in the splitting off of a strip of land approximately <br />30 feet in width by 220 feet in depth (lying between Doolittle Drive and the right <br />of way of Southern Pacific Co.) from the area bulk of an assessment parcel (Assessor's <br />Acct. No. 79A-422-3-1) for which the strip is apparently an access way to an otherwise <br />landlocked and unincorporated island. <br />3. That the proponent consider the inclusion within this proposal of said assessment <br />parcel in its entirety, together with an affected state assessment parcel (Acct. No. <br />872-1-117C, Parcel 15; Southern Pacific Co., assessee), to eliminate the county <br />parcel split and the existing unincorporated island. <br />4. That the districts affecting the boundaries of the above -mentioned proposed annexation <br />are as follows: <br />a. San Leandro Unified School District. <br />b. South County Joint Junior College District. <br />C. County Road District (No: 1). <br />d. County Flood Control and Water Conservation District (Zone 13). <br />e. Alameda -Contra Costa Transit District. <br />f. San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District. <br />g. East Bay Municipal Utility District (79-022 only). <br />h. County Mosquito Abatement District. <br />i. Bay Area Air Pollution Control District. <br />J. County Free Library System. NINE: East Bay Municipal Utility District <br />k. Eden Township Hospital District. does not apply to County Assessor's Acct. <br />1. East Bay Regional Park District. No. 79A-422-3-1 or any portion thereof, <br />nor to aforementioned state assessed parcel. <br />5.
