Section 2. That all of the proceedings heretofore had in connection <br />with said annexation election be and the same hereby are approved. <br />Section 3. That a new section to be known as Section 75 is hereby <br />added to Title VII, Chapter 2 of the San Leandro Municipal Code of 1957 <br />to read as follows: <br />"Section 75. On December 31, 1957, by Ordinance No. <br />1054 N.S., Mulford Gardens was annexed to this City." <br />Section 4. Pursuant to Subdivision (e) of Section 416 of the San Le- <br />andro City Charter, this ordinance shall, except for the effective date of <br />the annexation, take effect upon adoption. Insofar as this ordinance re- <br />lates to the date of annexation of the property herein described, this ordi- <br />nance shall take effect December 31, 1957. Prior to its adoption, this <br />ordinance shall be published once in the official newspaper of this City, <br />to -wit; "The Morning News". <br />Introduced by Councilman on this 21st day <br />of May, 1957, and passed to print by the following called vote: <br />Ayes: Councilmen: <br />Noes: Councilmen: ( ) <br />Absent: Councilmen: ( ) <br />Attest: <br />H.
