PETITION FOR THE ANNEXATION OF MULFORD GARDENS <br />TO THE HONORABLE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />Gentlemen: <br />Pursuant to the provisions of an act of the Legislature of the State <br />of California, herein designated and referred to as the "Annexation Act of <br />1913," and amendments thereto, the undersigned, being not less than one- <br />fourth in number of the qualified electors residing in the following des- <br />cribed territory, as shown by the registration of voters of Alameda County, <br />hereby petition your Honorable Body and ask that said territory hereinafter <br />described be annexed to the City of San Leandro. <br />Your petitioners request that the question to be submitted to the elec- <br />tors residing in the territory proposed to be annexed shall be, whether such <br />territory shall be annexed to the City of San Leandro, and the property in <br />the territory subjected to taxation after annexation equally with property <br />within the City of San Leandro to pay the bonded indebtedness of the City of <br />San Leandro outstanding or authorized at the date of the filing of this peti- <br />tion for annexation for the acquisition, construction, or completion of muni- <br />cipal improvements. <br />The territory herein referred to is all that land situated in the Township <br />of Eden, County of Alameda, State of California, described as follows: <br />
