C.M.S. <br />�D ` !•w"`"� <br />RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING RECEIPT OF COPY OF NOTICE OF INTENTION <br />TO CIRCULATE PETITION FOR THE ANNEXATION OFrMULFORD GARDENS)AND <br />AN AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION THEREOF; AND APPROVING THE CIRCULA- <br />TION OF THE PETITION <br />Whereas,�n December 4, 1956, there was filed with the City Clerk of the <br />City of San Leandro a copy of Notice of Intention to Circulate Petition Relat- <br />ing to Annexation of Certain Territory to the City of San LeandroUnder the <br />Annexation Act of 1913 pertaining to territory designated as Mulford Gardens <br />accompanied by a written Statement containing reasons for the petition together <br />with an affidavit of publication of said Notice and Statement which Notice and <br />Statement were published and advertised in accordance with law on: December 1, <br />1956, in The Morning News, a newspaper of general circulation published daily <br />and the official newspaper of the City of San Leandro; and <br />Whereas, the Annexation Act of 1913 provides that the legislative body may <br />adopt a resolution acknowledging receipt of the Notice and approving the circu- <br />lation of the petition: <br />Now, therefore, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE <br />as follows: <br />That the receipt of the Notice, Statement, and affidavit aforesaid be and <br />the same hereby is acknowledged, and that approval be and it hereby is given for <br />the circulation of the petition for annexation of that certain territory desig- <br />nated as( Mulfor&-4iFdens ithin the times and in the manner provided by law <br />therefor. <br />Introduced by Councilman <br />and passed and <br />adopted this lath day of December, 1956, by the following called vote: <br />Ayes: Councilmen: <br />Noes: Councilmen: <br />Absent: Councilmen: <br />Attest: <br />H.
