H. Ward) regarding <br />the <br />2 <br />relinquishment <br />by the <br />State of certain areas which <br />had theretofore constituted <br />a part <br />a <br />of the freeway. <br />An annexation of this type is effected by the Board of <br />Supervisors. <br />4 <br />1 discussed this <br />matter <br />with Ccyt, Deputy District <br />Attorney, prior to my <br />memo. This <br />5 morning I again called Coyt, who advises me that the Board of Supervisors have in process <br />6 now certain annexations of this type, but he is uncertain as to whether such annexations <br />7 are to Hayward or to San Leandro. Has anyone from the City of San Leandro contacted the <br />8 Board of Supervisors regarding these annexations? <br />9 If not, I would suggest that the matter be presented to the City Council which would <br />10 then adopt a resolution requesting the Board of Supervisorsto effect this annexation. <br />11 Without checking in detail, I appear to have two files on this matter containing descriptions <br />12 of the same properties. These cover: <br />13 LD-63-29 Parcel I <br />14 LD-63-29 Parcel 2 <br />15 LD-63-29 Parcel <br />16 \ LD-63-29 Parcel 4 <br />17 It would, therefore, appear that I have a surplus of material now. <br />18 <br />Arthur M.
