a <br />+► r <br />IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2W c.m.s. <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SUBMIT A <br />PROPOSAL TO THE BOUNDARy COMMISSION FOR THE AN- <br />NEXATION OF AN OUTFALL SEWER CHANNEL, UNIT NO. <br />63 <br />Whereas, the City of San Leandro has an easement in a certain 300 foot <br />wide strip of land, which is contiguous to the City and wherein it is pro- <br />posed to construct and/or maintain a. channel for an outfall sewer from the <br />City's Sewage Treatment Plant on dry land to the deep waters of San Francisco <br />$ay; and <br />Whereas,it is highly desirable that said territory be annexed to the <br />City of San Leandro in order that the Cityls police powers may be extended <br />thereover and that proper control my be had of said land so that proper use <br />may be made of the same in conformity with the Master Plan for the development <br />of this City! <br />Now, therefore, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE <br />as ioliows: <br />That the Mayor be and he hereby is authorized and directed to submit <br />a proposal for the annexation of said territory to the Boundary Commission <br />of Alameda County for its report on the definiteness and certainty of the <br />boundary of such territory - <br />Introduced by Councilman V a►b4ls and passed <br />and adopted this 4th day of April, 1955, by the following called vote: <br />Ayes: Caunci linen: F�f fir'�'��'" i].eiblrs� <br />g(T) <br />Noes: Counci linen: *0" <br />Absent: Councilmen: NOW <br />Attests <br />L/ <br />X* 14, -City Clerk <br />Ma or of the City of San Leatidto <br />4/l/55/a <br />
