IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2W C.M.S. <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO STJEMIT A <br />PROPOSAL TO TiE BOUNDARY COMMISSION FOR THE AN- <br />NEXATION OF AN OUTFALL SEWER CHANNEL, UNIT NO. <br />63 <br />Whereas, the City of San Leandro has an easement in a certain 300 foot <br />wide strip of land, which is contiguous to the City and wherein it is pro- <br />posed to construct and/or maintain a channel for an outfall sewer from the <br />City's Sewage Treatment Plant on dry land to the deep waters of San Francisco <br />Bay; and <br />Whereas,it is highly desirable that said territory be annexed to the <br />City of San Leandro in order that the City's police powers may be extended <br />thereover and that proper control may be had of said land so that proper use <br />may be made of the same in conformity with the Master Plan for the development <br />of this City-, <br />Now, therefore, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE <br />as follows: <br />That the Mayor be and he hereby is authorized and directed to submit <br />a proposal for the annexation of said territory to the Boundary Commission <br />of Alameda County for its report on the definiteness and certainty of the <br />boundary of such territory. <br />Introduced by Councilman ylabw <br />and passed <br />and adopted this 4th day of April, 1955:, by the following called vote: <br />Ayes: Councilmen: B8174Ms DmrA.Pnt _s Ka"t Srif°t►j viah"i <br />Kau* ( i <br />Noes: Couaeilinen: ti" <br />Absent: Councilmen: NOW <br />Attest: /V <br />Nq Nq ity Clerk <br />�0� <br />�0� <br />Ka- or of the I of San a *o <br />4/1/55/a <br />
