The la-,est of these <br />is a 31 acre tract located in the southweste L-n corner of the airw under <br />oonsideratior,, This area kricw;n as "San Lorenzo Pa *" is mme-d and operated <br />by the Hayward Area Recreation District. The present capital improveuim-it <br />plan for the axea calls for an expenditure of approximately $100,000 in <br />1964 65 and $50,000 per, year for the next ten yeare„ To date; approximately <br />$250,000 (including land acquisition) has been invested in the park,, <br />Le). Rey Park is cw!ed in part- by the Homes Association and by HARD, <br />The Homes Association portion is leased to HPscD for $l,:00 a year, The Disc <br />trio -maintains an active recreation program at this 3 acz\-- facility_. <br />A third park k:novri as "Vibe Park" consists of 9 am -es and is owned <br />by the Fx;mes Association. Appn:wiwately 5 acros is leased to the San Lorenzo <br />Little Lague, one --sixth of an acre to the San Lorenzo Boys' Club, and the <br />undeveloped reminder is schedt.1.led to be developed by the Homes Association <br />into a park in the carar_n year, <br />In addition to the three facilities mentioned above, the Horns Associa- <br />Lion leases two lighted tennis courts to BARD.. The courts are built on Hers <br />Association property adjacent to the "Caummi.ty Center." There is also a <br />small play area on this property. <br />The Village is within the East Bay Regional. Park District &nd pays taxes <br />to same. No District facilities exist or are presently planned for the <br />V ill' age area, <br />Planning ar:d 7yonin&_ Build _code <br />Plana'Ong and zoning is accou plished by the Alansda County Plannin`, <br />Cc-m-ussion. All Node compliance, inspection, building permits, etc, , are <br />handled by the County. <br />
