IN TIHE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1103 N�S <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING ANNEXATION OF SAN LEANDRO <br />INDUSTRIAL DISfiRIC'T, UNIT NOo 76 <br />(United Centrifugal Pimps) <br />Whereas, the City Council of the City of San Leandro on October 21, 1957, <br />in response to the written petition of the United Centrifugal Pumps, a Cali- <br />fornia. Corporation, said United Centrifugal Pumps being the owner of all the <br />territory proposed to be annexed, passed its Resolution No. 3424 C.M.S. and <br />thereby duly and regularly initiated proceedings to annex the hereinafter des- <br />cribed property; and <br />Whereas, prior to the filing of the above mentioned petition, the proposal <br />for the annexation of the hereinafter described real property to the City of <br />San Leandro was submitted to and reported upon to the proponents thereof by the <br />Alameda County Boundary Commission of the State of California, with respect to <br />the matters provided by law therefor; and <br />Whereas, said resolution, specifically described the boundaries of the <br />territory so proposed to be annexed to this City; designated such territory by <br />an appropriate identificationR contained a notice of the place, hour, and day, <br />not less than 15 nor more than 60 days thereafter, when and where any person <br />owning real property within such territory so proposed to be annexed and having <br />objections to the proposed annexation might appear before this Council and show <br />cause why such territory should not be so annexed; declared that such proceed- <br />ings were initiated in response to a written petition therefor signed by the <br />owners of said territory, representing all of the assessed value thereof; and <br />Whereas, the City Clerk of this City duly caused a copy of said resolution <br />to be p,:bblished at least twice, but not oftener than once a week, in a newspaper <br />of general circulation published in the City, to-wito in The Morning News on <br />October. 25, and November 1, 1957, and also in a newspaper of general circulation <br />published outside of the City, but in the County in which is located the terri- <br />tory proposed to be annexed, to wit: In the Inter -City Express on October 25, <br />and November 1, 1957, each of which aforesaid publications was completed at <br />least twenty days prior to the date set for the hearing; and <br />-1- <br />
