CHECK LIST IN RE ANNEXATION OF <br />WASHINGTON MANOR COISMNITY SERVICES DISTRICT <br />TO THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />LEGAL MATTERS <br />1. Separate resolutions should be adopted by both the Board of <br />Directors of WASHINGTON MANOR COMMUNITY SERVICES DISTRICT and the <br />City and the City Council approving the Lease and Agreement regard- <br />ing bond interest and retirement and authorizing execution by <br />appropriate officials. <br />2. All property, records, and documents should be physically de- <br />livered to the SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL as required by Government <br />Code 61890 and receipted for by the Council. <br />3. The City Council should be sworn in as the new Board of <br />Directors as required by Government Code 61209, using the appro- <br />priate official oath. <br />4. The City should, by appropriate resolution, set up the present <br />board members of WASHINGTON MANOR COMMUNITY SERVICES DISTRICT as an <br />advisory committee in matters pertaining to WASHINGTON MANOR PARK. <br />These members are BEN LEAL, JR., LAYTHON LANDIS, LARRY MASS, JEAN <br />CLACK, and R. DOUGLAS POST. <br />5. Before February 1, 1958, a map of the new city boundaries must <br />be filed with the State as required by Government Code 54900. <br />6. Notices of Completion should be recorded as the various jobs <br />now in progress are completed: these include Samson Construction <br />Company, Watkin & Sibbald, and the Bautista house removal contract. <br />7. An appropriate resolution of the City should be delivered to <br />the County Auditor directing that all 'Washington Manor funds held <br />-1- <br />
