Vitz, City Planner December 14, 1979 <br />FROM: Mike Oliver, Administrative Assistant <br />SUBJECT: Island Annexations <br />As we discussed in our preliminary meeting, a majority of the <br />leg -work for annexation of the City's three remaining unincorporated <br />islands will involve Community Development and Public Works personnel. <br />Phil Long has agreed to evaluate the condition of the buildings <br />and structures on the site; evaluate the sewerage systems; develop recom- <br />mendations for implementation of his findings; and complete the marked <br />portions of the application questionnaire. The proposed process will <br />require CDO and Public Works to develop their preliminary recommendations <br />and get together to review the material at a joint meeting to insure con- <br />sistency between the plans. <br />Martin Vitz has agreed to pursue the Environmental Review actions <br />for the LAFCO-MORGA actions; develop preliminary zoning information; develop <br />land use data; order aerial photographs of the sites; and complete the marked <br />sections of the attached application questionnaire. <br />For convenience, the three sites will be designated as follows: <br />Ar fi Davis Street West (Active Construction, S.P.R. . <br />A ea II Davis Street East (Lasley's, Escobar, etc.) <br />rea III •Williams Street (1951 Williams and related pares <br />At hed are preliminary drawings of the sites for your use. To <br />avoid confusion and to provide complete information in the application pro- <br />cess, three designated application questionnaires will be developed, one <br />for each of the three areas.
