A <br />110 <br />IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 64 - 57 <br />RESOLUTION CONSENTING TO THE DETACHMENT <br />OF CERTAIN TERRITORY FROM THE CITY OF <br />SAN LEANDRO AND CONSENTING TO THE <br />ANNEXATION THEREOF TO THE CITY OF OAKLAND <br />Whereas, that certain territory hereinafter described is now <br />situate within the City of San Leandro; and <br />Whereas, the written consent to detachment from the City of <br />San Leandro of at least two-thirds of the freeholders within said <br />territory holding at least two-thirds in value of the real property <br />in said territory has been received: <br />Now, therefore, the City Council of the City of San Leandro <br />does RESOLVE as follows: <br />That this City Council hereby consents to the detachment from <br />the City of San Leandro of aforesaid and hereinafter described ter- <br />ritory pursuant to Section 35304 of the Government Code of the State <br />of California so that the same may be annexed to the City of Oakland. <br />Said territory so to be detached from the City of San Leandro, Alameda <br />County, California, is specifically described as follows: <br />''Being a portion of the territory annexed to the City <br />of San Leandro by Ordinance No. 723 N.S. as shown on <br />the map filed December 12, 1946 in Book 9 of Maps, <br />page 46, Alameda County Records, described as follows: <br />Beginning at the point of intersection of the south- <br />western line of the Southern Pacific Railroad Company <br />right of way, 60 feet wide, formerly Bay and Coast <br />Railroad Company, with the southwestern line of <br />Doolittle Drive, formerly Bay Shore Boulevard; thence <br />along the said southwestern line of Doolittle Drive, <br />southeasterly to its intersection with the City of <br />San Leandro boundary line established by Ordinance <br />No. 723 N.S.; thence along the said City of San Le- <br />andro boundary line southwesterly and northwesterly <br />to its intersection with the northeastern line of <br />the said Southern Pacific Railroad Company right of <br />way; thence along the said northeastern line of the <br />Southern Pacific Railroad Company right of way, south- <br />easterly to its intersection with the said southwestern <br />d .� <br />
