<br />NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CIRCU-
<br />LATE A PETITION FOR ANNEXA-
<br />TION TO THE CITY OF SAN
<br />LEANDRO.
<br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
<br />undersigned intends to and will circu-
<br />late a petition within the district
<br />hereinafter described for the purpose of
<br />annexing said district which lies with-
<br />in the unincorporated territory of the
<br />County of Alameda, and which is im-
<br />mediately adjacent to the City of San
<br />Leandro to and within the boundaries
<br />of the G�fty of San Leandro
<br />The district in which said petition
<br />will be circulated and which is to be
<br />annexed to the City of San Leandro is
<br />described as follows:
<br />All that certain piece or parcel of
<br />land situate, lying and being in Eden
<br />Township, County of Alameda, State
<br />of California and particularly described
<br />as follows:
<br />BEGINNING at the point of intersec-
<br />tion of the Southwestern line of Foot-
<br />hill Boulevard with the Northwestern
<br />line of Estudillo Avenue, as said
<br />Estudillo Avenue and Foothill Boule-
<br />vard existed prior to the widening by
<br />the State Highway Commission as
<br />same now exists, said point of begin-
<br />ning being the Southeast corner of
<br />Lot 8, Block "A' as said Lot and Block
<br />are so shown on that certain filed map
<br />entitled "Estudillo Estates, San Lean-
<br />dro, Alameda County, California", etc.,
<br />file May 29, 1926 in Book 11 of Maps
<br />at Pages 76 and 77 in the office of the
<br />County Recorder of Alameda County,
<br />California and running thence North-
<br />easterly across Foothill Boulevard, on
<br />a line of the Northwestern line of
<br />Estudillo Avenue produced Northeast-
<br />erly to the point of intersection of the
<br />Northeastern line of Foothill Boulevard
<br />VTEN tie said Northwestern line of
<br />Estudillo Avenue, said point of inter-
<br />section being the Northeastern corner
<br />of said streets as same existed before
<br />widening by the State Highway Com-
<br />mission for Foothill Boulevard as same
<br />now exists; thence Northeasterly along
<br />the said Northwestern line of Estudillo
<br />Avenue to an angle point in said line
<br />of said Avenue, as same exists of
<br />record; thence Southeasterly and cross-
<br />ing said Estudillo Avenue to the angle
<br />point in said Avenue on the opposite
<br />or Southeastern line of said Estudillo
<br />Avenue, the bearing of which said
<br />crossing is referred to as "South 30°
<br />57' 03" East", on that certain filed map
<br />entitled "TRACT 532 Alameda County,
<br />California", etc., filed June 20 1938 in
<br />Book 29 of Maps at Pages lii and 13
<br />In the office of the County Recorder of
<br />Alameda County, California; thence
<br />Northeasterly along said Southeastern
<br />line of Estudillo Avenue, along the
<br />Northwestern boundary line of said
<br />"TRACT 532", North 47° 141 55" East
<br />(said bearing as shown on said filed
<br />map last referred to), 219.70 feet to
<br />the most Northern corner of Lot 8,
<br />Block 2, as said Lot and Block are
<br />shown on said Map of "TRACT 532";
<br />thence Southeasterly and leaving said
<br />line of Estudillo Avenue and running
<br />along the Northeastern line of Lots 8
<br />and 10 of said Block 2 of said "TRACT
<br />532", along said map bearings and
<br />distances as shown; South 47° 11' 10"
<br />East 228.08 feet to a point on the
<br />Northwestern line of Sandelin Avenue,
<br />as said Avenue is also shown on said
<br />filed —map of "TRACT-382", thence
<br />Easterly along the said Northern line
<br />of Sandelin Avenue then following
<br />courses and distances shown on said
<br />filed map of "TRACT 532", etc., North
<br />67" 20' Fast 14.86 Pert: thrncr Rnnth-
<br />continuing along said Northwestern
<br />line of Sandelin Avenue, North 54° 46'
<br />35" East to the point of intersection
<br />of the Northeastern line of Parker
<br />Street with the Northwestern line of
<br />said Sandelin Avenue, as said Avenue
<br />and Street are shown on said filed map
<br />of "Belleview Park Tract"; thence
<br />Southeasterly and crossing said Sande-
<br />lin Avenue to the Northeastern corner
<br />of Lot 1, Block 5, as said Lot and
<br />Block are shown on said filed map of
<br />"TRACT 532", etc., thence Southeaster-
<br />ly along the Northeastern boundary
<br />lines of Lots 1, 10, 11 and 12 of said
<br />Block 5 of said "TRACT 532", South
<br />35" 26' East 300.00 feet to the South-
<br />eastern corner of said Lot 12, said
<br />corner being on the Northwestern line
<br />of East Juana Avenue, as shown on
<br />said filed map of "TRACT 532"; thence
<br />Southeasterly and crossing said East
<br />Juana Avenue at right angles thereto
<br />50.00 feet to a point on the South-
<br />east,grn line of said Avenue; thence
<br />Southwesterly along said Southeastern
<br />line of said East Juana Avenue, South
<br />54° 46' 35" West 97.57 feet to the
<br />Northeastern corner of Lot 19, Block 4,
<br />as said Lot and Block are shown on
<br />said filed map of "TRACT 532"; thence
<br />Southeasterly along the Northeastern
<br />boundary line of said Lot 19, Block 4
<br />of said map of "TRACT 532", South 47°
<br />11' 10" East 114.66 feet to the South-
<br />eastern corner of said Lot 19; thence
<br />Westerly along the Southern boundary
<br />line of said Tract 532, along the are
<br />of a circle to the right with a radius
<br />of 886.52 feet, an arc distance of 616.76
<br />feet; thence continuing along said
<br />Southern boundary line of said TRACT
<br />532, along the are of a compound circle
<br />to the right, with a radius of 2292.01
<br />feet, tangent to the last mentioned
<br />course, a7r are distance of 471.61 feet
<br />to the Southwestern corner of said
<br />TRACT 532, said corner being on the
<br />Northeastern line of Foothill Boule-
<br />vard, as same now exists after widen-
<br />ing by the State Highway Commission;
<br />thence Westerly to the point of inter-
<br />section of the Western line of Foothill
<br />Boulevard, as same existed prior to the
<br />widening, with the Southeastern line
<br />of Joaquin Avenue, said point of inter-
<br />section being the Northeastern corner
<br />of Lot 9, Block 67, as said Lot, Block,
<br />Boulevard and Avenue are shown on
<br />that certain filed map entitled "Estu-
<br />dillo Tract", etc., filed January 10, 1876,
<br />in Book 5 of Maps, at Page 32, Alameda
<br />County Records, said point being also
<br />on the Eastern Boundary line of the
<br />City of San Leandro, as same now
<br />exists; thence Northerly along said
<br />Eastern boundary line of San Leandro,
<br />said line being also the Western line
<br />of Foothill Boulevard, as same existed
<br />prior to widening; along the are of a
<br />circle to the left, with a radius of
<br />420.00 feet to the Northeastern corner
<br />of Lot 14, Block 66 of said "Estudillo
<br />Tract"; thence Northwesterly and
<br />crossing Estudillo Avenue, tangent to
<br />the last mentioned course 66.00 feet
<br />to the point of beginning.
<br />BEING a portion of Foothill Boule-
<br />vard, as the same formerly existed
<br />prior to widening, a portion of Foot-
<br />hill Boulevard, after widening and as
<br />same now exists, a portion of Estudillo
<br />Avenue, a portion of Sandelin Avenue
<br />and all of the Lots, Blocks and Streets
<br />as same are delineated and so desig-
<br />nated upon that certain filed map en-
<br />titled "TRACT 532, Alameda County,
<br />California", etc., filed June 20, 1938 in
<br />Book 29 of Maps at Pages 12 and 13
<br />in the office of the County Recorder of;
