PETITION FOR CONSENT TO THE; CO :1.2— 21MMT _ <br />OF A1ITEXATION PMCEMINGS RE <br />To the Honorable City Council APR 15 1953 <br />of the City of San Leandro <br />CCITT of , LEANU O <br />The undersigned and a number of other persons desire to commence proceedings <br />for the annexation of that certain territory hereinafter specified pursuant to <br />the Annexation Act of 1913 and in connection therewith petition the City Council <br />of the City of San Leandro to give its consent to the commencement of such <br />proceedings. <br />inasmuch as we will receive all the benefits of the existing bonded indebtedness <br />of the City of San Leandro, we desire that said property proposed to be annexed to the <br />City of San Leandro, after such annexation, be subject to taxation equally with the <br />property within said City of San Leandro, to pay all the bonded indebtedness of said <br />City, outstanding at the date of said annexation. <br />Said territory is inhabited, is contiguous to the City of San Leandro, and is <br />situated generally as follcnvs: The area is known as the Bellevue Park Tract, <br />bounded by Estudillo Avenue in the northwest and Lake Chabot in the north, and is <br />contiguous with the City in the south and southwest. <br />Attached hereto and made a part hereof is a map on which is indicated by red <br />lines the boundary of said territory. <br />The following is a legal description of said property: <br />PORTION OF MAP NO. 1 BELLEVUE PARK TRACT <br />TMAL PROPERTY in the Township of Eden, County of Alameda, State of California, <br />described as follows: <br />BF�'INNING at the point of intersection of the southeastern line of Estudillo <br />Avenue as said avenue existed August 19, 1952 with the northeastern line of Lot 2, <br />Block 2 as said lot and block are shown on that certain map entitled "-,Tap No. 1, <br />Bellevue Park Tract,' filed November 28, 1894, in Book 17 of Maps at page 68, in <br />the office of the County Recorder of Alameda County, California, said point of <br />beginning also being on the City of San Leandro boundary line as established by <br />Ordinance No. 858 N.S.; running thence north 470 141 55" east along the said <br />southeastern line of said. Estudillo Avenue (Basis of bearings for this description ,-I <br />being taken as City of San Leandro Ordinance No. 560 N.S.) 73.41.E feet; thence north <br />570 44' 55" east 27.20 feet; thence alonc- the southern line of Lake Chabot Road <br />
