IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2022-____ <br /> AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING COMPENSATION OF COUNCILMEMBERS <br />The City Council of the City of San Leandro does ORDAIN as follows: <br />Section 1. Councilmembers shall receive a salary in the amount of One Thousand <br />Three Hundred Twenty-Three dollars ($1,323.00) a month. <br />Section 2. The provisions of Section 1 of Ordinance No. 2006-020 shall remain in <br />full force and effect until the provisions of Section 1 of this Ordinance are operative. Upon such <br />date or in such event, the provisions of Section 1 of Ordinance No. 2006-020 are hereby <br />repealed. <br />Section 3. The provisions of Section 1 of this ordinance shall not be operative <br />until January 1, 2023. <br />Section 4. Pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 33114.5, each member of the <br />Successor Agency to the Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Leandro shall receive <br />compensation of Thirty Dollars ($30) per meeting of the Successor Agency to the <br />Redevelopment Agency attended by that member; however, in no event shall any member <br />receive compensation for attending more than four meetings per month. <br />Section 5. This ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days after adoption.
