Her helpful spirit both in and outside the classroom, <br /> and warm embracing of everyone, even those in the office. <br /> <br />She is a student from James Monroe Elementary School nominated by Principal Jeannette McNeil who may be in attendance tonight as well. <br /> <br />3.b. 2022 Small Business Saturday Proclamation <br />{MAYOR} Katie Bowman Economic Development Manager will introduce the item <br /> <br />REPORT ON CLOSED SESSION ACTIONS TAKEN <br />Rich: <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER AND CITY ATTORNEY REPORTS AND COMMENTS <br />Fran: I would like to provide an update on Consent Calendar Agenda Item 10.a related to the West San Leandro Shuttle Business Improvement District, which operates the LINKS shuttle. <br />The LINKS shuttle provides free rides to workers and employees in the west side of town. <br />This item includes the receipt of the Annual Report for the district and the adoption of next year’s Assessment Rates that businesses will pay to help fund the shuttle. <br />Mike and Joann Oliver, with Municipal Resource Group, have managed the LINKS shuttle since 2015. <br />They are retiring and we would like to thank them for all of their work, including through budget challenges and the coronavirus pandemic. <br />We would also like to introduce the new management, ALTRANS.
