IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO ORDINANCE NO. 2022-017 AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING COMPENSATION OF COUNCILMEMBERS The City Council of the City of San Leandro does ORDAIN as follows: Section 1. Councilmembers shall receive a salary in the amount of One Thousand Three Hundred Twenty-Three dollars ($1,323.00) a month. Section 2. The provisions of Section 1 of Ordinance No. 2006-020 shall remain in full force and effect until the provisions of Section 1 of this Ordinance are operative. Upon such date or in such event, the provisions of Section 1 of Ordinance No. 2006-020 are hereby repealed. Section 3. The provisions of Section 1 of this ordinance shall not be operative until January 1, 2023. Section 4. Pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 33114.5, each member of the Successor Agency to the Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Leandro shall receive compensation of Thirty Dollars ($30) per meeting of the Successor Agency to the Redevelopment Agency attended by that member; however, in no event shall any member receive compensation for attending more than four meetings per month. Section 5. This ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days after adoption. The City Clerk is directed to publish the title once and post a complete copy thereof on the City Council Chamber bulletin board prior to its adoption.
