<br />Community Development Department <br />Housing Services <br /> <br />Memo <br />To: Perry Carter, Interim Finance Director <br />From: Patt Greig, Administrative Assistant <br />Date: March 10, 2008 <br />Re: Request for your signature on Notice of Rescission of Reconveyance and Agreement <br />Background <br />In 1993 two rehabilitation loans were executed for Mrs. Ramos: one for $9075.00 on which she made monthly payments; one for $4285.00 which was deferred. <br />On March 16, 2001 the City was notified that Mrs. Ramos had paid off her loan, account number 3720054 (the loan for $9,075.00). <br />A Deed of Reconveyance was issued, and recorded, in error, for the $4,285.00 loan. <br />When the error was found, a Deed of Reconveyance was issued for the correct loan. <br />As a result of monitoring outstanding loans on the Amerinational database, the above was discovered. Now a Notice of Rescission for the Incorrect Deed of Reconveyance needs to be issued. <br />Please sign the attached document and return to me. I will send it to Amerinational for signature and request that they have it recorded. <br />Thank you in advance. <br />
