U A G R E E M E N T Recitals District has entered into an agreement with the Oakland Unified School District, denominated the Tri -School Project, whereunder pupils from Madison and Sobrante Park Schools in Oakland and Cleveland School in San Leandro will undertake a study and improvement of the ecology of. San Leandro Creek for the purpose of en- vironmental protection. District has requested, and the Human Resources Commission of City has recommended, that City allocate up to Six Hundred Dollars ($600) to be used for ordinary and necessary capital expenditures and ordinary necessary maintenance and operating expenses of this environmental protection project. Both purposes con- stitute priority expenditures as defined in the Revenue Sharing Law and will be of benefit to City. NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto mutually agree as follows: 1. City shall pay to District, upon request by District, the sum of Six Hundred Dollars ($600). 2. District shall: A. Apply the funds received hereunder to the purposes of the Tri -School Project encompassed within the defini- tion of priority expenditures contained in Section 103 of P.L. 92-512. B. Retain and irrevocably dedicate any non -expendable equipment acquired with said funds to purposes encom- passed -within the definition of priority expenditures contained in Section 103 of P.L. 92-512. C,. Upon completion of the Tri -School Project, submit to City a report setting forth the activities undertaken and an accounting of the funds expended pursuant to this agreement, and repay to City any part of the sum paid hereunder by City not so expended.
