IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2022- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING <br />BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO AND THE SAN LEANDRO POLICE <br />OFFICERS’ ASSOCIATION (SLPOA) FOR THE PERIOD JANUARY 1, 2023 <br />THROUGH JUNE 30, 2028 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an agreement was reached between the negotiators for the City of San <br />Leandro and the San Leandro Police Officers’ Association (SLPOA); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), and Salary Schedules attached as <br />Appendix A, between the City and the SLPOA, for the period January 1, 2023 through June 20, <br />2028, has been presented to this City Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br /> <br />1. That said MOU and salary schedules are hereby approved; and <br /> <br />2. That Council authorizes programming appropriate funding into the corresponding SLPOA <br />salary and benefit accounts for Fiscal Years 2024 through 2028; and <br /> <br />3. That the City Manager is authorized to execute said MOU and make non-substantive <br />revisions subject to the approval of the City Attorney; and <br /> <br />4. That an original executed MOU shall be attached to and made a part of this resolution. <br />
