2. The conditions upon which the Building Official believes that the building, structure, equipment or unoccupied building is unsafe. 3. The date, hour and place of the hearing. 116.7.4 Posting of notice. The Building Official shall post one copy of the notice of hearing in a conspicuous place on the unsafe building, structure, equipment or unoccupied building involved, not less than ten days prior to the hearing. 116.7.6 Hearing by Building Board of Appeals. The Building Board of Appeals shall hold a hearing and consider all competent evidence offered by any person pertaining to the matters set forth in the report of the Building Official. The Building Board of Appeals shall make written findings of fact as to whether or not the building or structure is an unsafe building as defined in this Chapter. 116.7.7 Order. If the Building Board of Appeals finds that the building, structure, equipment or unoccupied building is an unsafe building, it shall make an order based on its finding that: 1. The building, structure, equipment or unoccupied building is unsafe and directing that repairs be made and specifying such repairs, or 2. The building, structure, equipment or unoccupied building is unsafe and directing that it be vacated and that specified repairs be made, or 3. The building, structure, equipment or unoccupied building is unsafe and directing that it shall be vacated and demolished. The order shall state the time within which the work required must be commenced after the service of the order. The order shall state a reasonable time within which the work shall be completed. The Building Official for good cause, may extend the time for completion in writing. The order shall be served upon the same parties and in the same manner as required by Section 116.7.2 for the notice of hearing. It shall also be conspicuously posted on or about the building or structure.
