DISCUSSION ITEMS <br />3.A.22-062 Presentation on the Shoreline Park <br />Nick Thom delivered a presentation regarding the Shoreline Park project. John Hughes from <br />Griffin Structures, the project’s consultant, also presented information on this project. <br />COMMITTEE REQUESTS/DIRECTION TO STAFF: <br />-Councilmember Cox recommends committee does a budget request from State <br />Senator, Budget Chair Committee and Assembly Member, to get additional funding <br />for Shoreline Park project. <br />-Councilmember Azevedo comments and suggests future design changes consider <br />community events around the marina. <br />-Mayor Cutter suggests future designs changes consider adding features to <br />increase public access, safety and brand funding. <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS: <br />None. <br />3.B. 22-063 Presentation on the Crosstown Class IV Corridor Study Concept <br /> Designs <br />Sheila Marquises and Carrie Modi delivered a presentation on the Crosstown Class IV Corridor <br />Study Concept. <br />COMMITTEE REQUESTS/DIRECTION TO STAFF: <br />-Councilmember Azevedo recommends more community feedback studies be <br />made. <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS: <br />There were public comments from Sarah Bailey and Barbara Butler <br />Page 2 City of San Leandro Printed on 12/14/2022
