DISCUSSION ITEMS <br />3.A.22-329 Memorial Park Improvement Project <br />Nick Thom delivered a presentation regarding the Memorial Park Improvement Project. <br />COMMITTEE REQUESTS/DIRECTION TO STAFF: <br />-Committee directed staff to proceed with design for the full park and acknowledged <br />that the cost will exceed the amount currently budgeted for the project. <br />-Mayor Cutter wants to discuss funding options that do not include removing funding <br />from Thrasher Skate Park. <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS: <br />Public comments made by unknown. <br />3.B. 22-330 East Bay Greenway (EBGW) Multimodal Project Update <br />Aleida Andrino-Chavez and Jhay Delos Reyes, Alameda County Transportation Commission, <br />presented on the East Bay Greenway (EBGW) Multimodal Project. <br />COMMITTEE REQUESTS/DIRECTION TO STAFF: <br />-Mayor Cutter wants to discuss design options that have Protected Bikeways and <br />sidewalk as well as design options that prevent puddles that are generated from <br />flat-sidewalk designs. Additionally, she’d like up to date illustrations of sidewalk <br />designs for each meeting. <br />-Mayor Cutter wants to discuss future plans for reducing speeds, in adherence to <br />design regulations for AC Transit bus stops.
