Consulting Services Agreement between City of San Leandro and The San Leandro Chamber of Commerce for Ongoing Econ Dev Services Last revised 11/23/2022 Exhibit B – Page 1 of 1 <br />EXHIBIT A SCOPE OF SERVICES COMPENSATION SCHEDULE & REIMBURSABLE EXPENSES The business community plays a critical role in continuing to move the local economy forward. San Leandro's businesses are responsible for over 60% of the city’s total revenues. Collaboration between city staff, and partners, such as the Chamber of Commerce, to support and uplift our local businesses and invite newcomers, is more important than ever. The Chamber of Commerce initiatives focus on being the convener, catalyst, and champion for the business community. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Workforce Development - $13,750 <br />Job Fair x two – The job fair champions local people getting local jobs within multiple industries in San Leandro. Two job fairs will be held throughout the year, providing the opportunity for businesses and <br />organizations (including the city) to promote available jobs and resources, make connections with employers, and apply for and obtain jobs in their community. Career Fair x three – Attendance at surrounding university career fairs to promote San Leandro businesses, to increase awareness of the different types of industry and available jobs in San Leandro, and gain access to a larger number of candidates for our businesses. Destination San Leandro - $15,000 $15,000 – Promote San Leandro Restaurants: Develop a restaurant week to celebrate the flavors of San Leandro’s unique and diverse restaurants utilizing scavenger hunt technology, QR codes, social media check-ins and more. <br /> Business Retention– $33,750 Coordinate and convene forums, presentations and meet up events to educate, inform and connect businesses to collaborate around common interests to maintain and further develop a business eco system. $18,750 National Small Business Week 2023 - Provide the platform and planning for business education seminars on several different topics; format to be determined, topics to be determined. $7500 San Leandro by Design – Summer 2023 - San Leandro by Design is a signature program focused on bringing San Leandro towards its fullest potential. Programs are designed around relevant topics, bringing diverse interests and stakeholders together in the form of lectures, presentations, and walking tours of plans <br />for development, updates from economic development organizations and inspirational storytelling of successful cities. Topic to be determined. <br />$7500 National Manufacturing Week October 2023 Celebration of San Leandro’s dense and impressive manufacturing business sector. The Chamber will provide the platform, marketing, and promotion of tour participation of companies on National Manufacturing Day and host a Manufacturer’s Appreciation Event at the close of the week.
