IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO.2023-005 <br />RESOLUTION TO APPROVE UPGRADING TWO FULL-TIME EQUIVALENT <br />POSITIONS TO THE ADOPTED BUDGET STAFFING ALLOCATION <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro City Council adopted the Fiscal Year 2021-2022 <br />and 2022-2023 biennial budget on June 28, 2021 and updated the staffing allocation on January <br />18, 2022; and <br />WHEREAS, upgrading the Management Analyst I position to a Public Information <br />Officer position in the City Manager's Office staffing allocation will assist in improving <br />communication and transparency to the community and within the organization; and <br />WHEREAS, upgrading the Assistant Information Technology Manager position to an <br />Information Technology Manager position, and upgrading Audio Visual Technician to <br />Information Systems Support Technician in the Information Technology Department staffing <br />allocation will assist in improving the reliability, resiliency and operational capabilities of the <br />City's technology infrastructure; and <br />WHEREAS, it is important to have the necessary staffing levels to respond to <br />community needs and City Council priorities; and <br />WHEREAS, upgrading these two positions will provide much needed staff resources to <br />focus on high priorities in the areas of communications and technology infrastructure. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City of San Leandro City Council hereby RESOLVES as <br />follows: <br />That the upgrade of the Assistant Information Technology Manager position to Information <br />Technology Manager in the Information Technology Department, and upgrade of the <br />Management Analyst I position to Public Information Officer in the City Manager's Office <br />Adopted Budget Staffing Allocation is approved. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2023-005 <br />
