IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO.2022-199 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL TO <br />APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A NON- <br />PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH BRIGHTLY SOFTWARE, INC. TO <br />PERFORM A FACILITY CONDITION ASSESSMENT AND PROVIDE CAPITAL <br />PREDICTOR SOFTWARE IN THE AMOUNT OF $95,465.22 FOR FISCAL YEAR 2022- <br />2023, PLUS AN ADDITIONAL $105,350.18 FOR FIVE YEARS OF CAPITAL <br />PREDICTOR SOFTWARE FOR A TOTAL COST OF $200,815.40 <br />WHEREAS, in 2021, the Community Advisory Budget Task Force recommended that <br />the City complete a Facility Condition Assessment of all City -owned buildings to properly assess <br />deferred maintenance and capital improvement needs; and <br />WHEREAS, the City has a current contract with Brightly Software, Inc. to provide <br />cloud -based applications to manage building maintenance activities and to identify capital <br />needs; and <br />WHEREAS, the City desires to enter into an agreement with Brightly to provide Facility <br />Condition Assessment services so that data can be integrated into the applications with the goal <br />of delivering accurate predictive modeling of facility system capital needs; and <br />WHEREAS, the agreement includes an initial subscription of Capital Predictor software <br />for fiscal year 2022-2023 plus five additional years at a fixed price paid annually; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents of the agreement; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That said agreement substantially in the form presented is hereby approved and execution by the <br />City Manager is hereby authorized; and <br />That the City Manager is authorized to make non -substantial revisions to said agreement, subject <br />to the approval of the City Attorney. <br />
