IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2023-019 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL TO APPROVE A THREE- <br />YEAR CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH DAVIS STREET FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER <br />(DSFRC) IN THE AMOUNT OF $141,000 AND TO AUTHORIZE CORRESPONDING FUNDING FOR <br />THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING BASIC NEED SUPPORT TO SAN LEANDRO RESIDENTS WHO ARE <br />AT RISK OR WHO ARE ALREADY EXPERIENCING HOMELESSNESS, USING AMERICAN RESCUE <br />PALN ACT (ARPA) FUND 190 <br />WHEREAS, DSFRC plays a key role in linking people at risk or who are already <br />experiencing homelessness to basic needs services support; and <br />WHEREAS, the scope of services and a corresponding agreement dated March 1, 2023 <br />has been developed between the City of San Leandro and Davis Street Family Resource Center <br />(DSFRC); and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends the use of existing unspent appropriations <br />from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Fund 190 for the purposes of executing and <br />implementing this much -needed services contract. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: <br />1. The City Manager is authorized to execute a $141,000 agreement with Davis Street <br />Family Resource Center (DSFRC) <br />2. The use of existing previously appropriated ARPA funds in the amount of $14,100 for <br />fiscal year 2022-2023, $42,300 for fiscal year 2023-2024, $42,300 for fiscal year <br />2024-2025 and $42,300 for fiscal year 2025-2026 is hereby authorized by the City <br />Council. <br />Introduced by Councilmember Aguilar and passed and adopted this 6t" day of March <br />2023, by the following vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Aguilar, Azevedo, Ballew, Bowen, Reynes, Simon, and <br />Mayor Gonzalez (7) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: N n (0) <br />4 <br />ATTEST: <br />Kelly B. qUncy, City Clerk <br />
