<br />Consulting Services Agreement between City of San Leandro and January 1, 2023 <br />Aaron Welch Planning for Bay Fair Strategic Advising and Implementation Exhibit A – Page 1 of 1 <br />EXHIBIT A <br /> <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />Under the supervision of the Assistant Community Development Director and/or the Community <br />Development Director, the Consultant shall provide professional planning services and strategic advising to <br />support the City of San Leandro and its planning, design, development, and implementation efforts in the <br />Bay Fair area of San Leandro. The term of the agreement will be for two years starting in January 2023, <br />after which the agreement could be renewed or extended if agreeable to both parties. Consultant efforts will <br />be determined by project needs and deliverables, as directed by the City of San Leandro and agreed by the <br />Consultant. Consultant is anticipated to be available to provide project support during the spring and fall of <br />each year, but not during the summer (June-August) or the winter holiday (December 5-January 5). <br /> <br />The projects and tasks to which the Consultant may contribute include but are not required to be limited to <br />the following, as feasible within the project budget: <br /> Provide strategic advising during the implementation and development process of the Bay Fair <br />area <br /> Serve as extension of staff and City representative in collaborations and negotiations with B3, <br />BART and/or other property owners pursuing development projects in the Bay Fair area <br /> Represent the City in reviewing development plans, designs, public space improvements, or other <br />development concepts to ensure the new plans are consistent with the goals of the City, BART, the <br />Bay Fair Specific Plan and zoning district, and other community goals <br /> Represent the City and/or collaborate with a future planning consultant team in future development <br />planning and design work for the Bay Fair area <br /> Coordinate between the City and other agencies such as BART, Alameda County, Alameda <br />County Flood Control, Alameda County Supervisor(s), Alameda County Transportation <br />Commission, MTC, or other agencies <br /> Contribute to other duties, planning and design efforts, implementation support, or strategic <br />advising as assigned. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />DocuSign Envelope ID: C42842F9-5071-456C-9AD7-DB6DB609375E
