WRT | RFP No. 60149: San Leandro Comprehensive Parks Master Plan 48 <br />Mateo Street Park: WRT led a second park <br />planning effort to compete for Prop 68 funds <br />for a small neighborhood park in Ashland. <br />The engagement and conceptual design <br />for this project was conducted virtually <br />due to the global pandemic. The process <br />engaged over 600 individuals though a <br />series of virtual workshops, online surveys, <br />and stakeholder meetings. Engagement <br />efforts uncovered the need for access to <br />active recreation as well as green space and <br />trees, and the desire for design to reflect the <br />distinct vibrancy of community. <br />MATEO STREET PARK
