The motion CARRIED by the following vote: Aye:Aguilar Jr., Azevedo, Ballew, Simon, Gonzalez III, Reynes, Bowen7 - Councilmember Ballew made a motion to adjourn after item 13.a the motion failed for a lack of second. 13.b.23-057 Second Reading of an Ordinance to Extend the City’s Residential Eviction Moratorium to February 28, 2024 Councilmember Reynes made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 11 pm, with a second by Councilmember Aguilar, the motion passed 5-2 with Councilmembers Ballew and Gonzalez voting no. Comments were made by the following individuals: Ralph Ortiz, Marc Janowitz, Craig Williams, Jim Prola and Leo West A motion was made by Councilmember Aguilar, Jr., seconded by Councilmember Bowen, that this Staff Report be Approved.
