Successor Agency Funds Summary
The City of San Leandro serves as the Successor Agency to the Redevelopment Agency and is charged with
winding down the affairs of the former Agency and overseeing the payment of enforceable obligations, such
as debt service on bonds and contractual obligations. This section provides a brief overview of the
enforceable obligation and administrative costs related to the three former redevelopment project areas:
the Plaza Project Area, the Joint Project Area, and the West San Leandro/MacArthur Boulevard Project Area,
as well as the Successor Agency Debt Service funds. The revenues, expenditures and staff authorized to
support these projects are also included in this section displayed as charts and tables. Funding for payment
of enforceable obligations and the Successor Agency’s administrative allowance will be paid using bi-annual
remittances from the County of Alameda via the Redevelopment Property Tax Trust Fund.
