150 - Grants Fund: Accounts for various grants from Alameda County, the State of California, and the Federal government <br />to be expended for a speci c purpose, activity, or facility. <br />165 - Community Development Block Grant Fund: An annual entitlement grant from the U.S. Department of Housing <br />and Urban Development to fund public services, affordable housing, capital improvements, and economic development <br />that primarily bene t low/moderate income persons. <br />166 - HOME Fund Grants: From the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (via Alameda County) for <br />eligible affordable housing activities and renovation programs. <br />167 - Housing In-Lieu: Accounts for assessments levied to provide for partial funding of low/moderate housing projects. <br />168 - Affordable Housing Asset Fund: Accounts for assets received from affordable housing activities from the former <br />Redevelopment Agency's Low/Moderate Housing Fund and acts as its Successor Agency <br />170 - Business Improvement District Fund: Accounts for service fees charged to business owners to provide a shuttle <br />service from BART to the west San Leandro businesses. <br />180 - Public Education & Government (PEG) Fund: This new fund accounts for user fees charged to cable television <br />customers and is used to fund public education on government programs. <br />Capital Project Funds <br />210 - Capital Improvement Projects Fund: Accounts for nancial resoures to be used for the acquisition of construction of <br />major capital facilities other than those nanced by proprietary and special revenue funds. <br />240 - Cherrywood Imrpovement Project: Accounts for certain infrastructure construction of the Cherrywood <br />development <br />241 SL Hillside Geological Abatement: Accounts for the nances of the collaboration between the City and the Geological <br />hazardous Abatement District (GHAD). <br />City of San Leandro | Proposed Biennial Budget FY24-25 Page 42
