Successor Agency <br />Accounts for winding down the affairs of the Redevelopment Agency are subject to the review and approval of the local <br />Oversight Board and the State of California. The Successor Agency is obligated to prepare a Recognized Obligation Payment <br />Schedule (ROPS) every six months, as long as there are enforceable obligations of the former RDA. The City, as the Successor <br />Agency, can only pay obligations listed on the ROPS. <br />970 - Successor Agency - Debt Service Fund: Accounts for repayment to the City for interest on advances and debt service on <br />the tax allocation bonds and certicates of participation supported by the Recognized Obligation Payment Schedules (ROPs). <br />971 - Successor Agency - Redevelopment Obligation Retirement Fund: Accounts for repayment to the City for interest on <br />advances and debt service on the tax allocation bonds and certicates of participation supported by the Recognized <br />Obligation Payment Schedules (ROPs). <br />982 - Successor Agency - Joint Project Area Fund: Accounts for the administration costs, loan, CIP, and annual income <br />transactions, as well as fund and asset transfers for the Joint Project Area Fund. <br />City of San Leandro | Proposed Biennial Budget FY24-25 Page 44
