IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO RESOLUTION NO. 2023-078 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL TO APPROVE FIVE (5) COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) AGREEMENTS TOTALING $141,342 FOR FISCAL YEAR 2023-2024 BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO AND CDBG SUB -RECIPIENTS FOR PUBLIC SERVICES GRANTS TO CALICO (CHILD ABUSE LISTENING, INTERVIEWING, AND COORDINATION CENTER) FOR $22,000; DAVIS STREET FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER FOR $30,000; SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES FOR SENIORS, INC. (SOS/MEALS ON WHEELS) FOR $39,000; SPECTRUM COMMUNITY SERVICES (SAN LEANDRO SENIOR NUTRITION PROGRAM) FOR $30,342; ECHO HOUSING FOR $20,000 WHEREAS, the final Annual Action Plan (referred to hereinafter as "the Plan") was adopted on May 1, 2023 by Resolution No. 2023-041 reflecting the activities that the City plans to fund and implement during FY 2023-2024; and WHEREAS, CDBG public services agreements between the City of San Leandro and CALICO (Child Abuse Listening, Interviewing, and Coordination Center); Davis Street Family Resource Center; Service Opportunities for Seniors, Inc. (SOS/ Meals on Wheels); Spectrum Community Services (San Leandro Senior Nutrition Program); and Eden Council for Hope and Opportunity Housing (ECHO Housing) are presented to the City Council; and WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreements. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: That said agreements are hereby approved and execution thereof is hereby authorized for the CDBG public service grant amounts below: • CALICO (165-43-171-5120) $ 22,000 • Davis Street, (165-43-207-5120) $ 30,000 • SOS/Meals on Wheels (165-43-224-5120) $ 39,000 • Spectrum (165-43-210-5120) $ 30,342 • ECHO Housing (165-43-122-5120) $ 20,000 Total $141,342
