IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO RESOLUTION NO. 2023-086 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL TO APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT NO.5 TO THE NON-PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH FLAGSHIP FACILITY SERVICES INC., FOR CITY WIDE JANITORIAL SERVICES FOR $642,155.58 PLUS $25,384.70 FOR ADDITIONAL UNSCHEDULED SERVICES FOR FISCAL YEAR 2023-2024 WHEREAS, the City and Contractor have executed an agreement, pursuant to which contractor provides certain services with regard to janitorial services; and WHEREAS, the Parties desire to amend the Agreement to extend the term from July 1, 2023 through March 31, 2024 and increase the annual service contract price by 4.9%.; and WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said amendment to the agreement. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: 1. Section 1.1 of the Agreement, entitled "Term of Service", is hereby amended to extend the term from July 1, 2023, through March 31, 2024; and 2. Section 2 of the Agreement, entitled "Compensation", is hereby amended to pay Contractor a sum not to exceed $71,360.52 per month for a total of $642,155.58 per year plus an additional $25,384.70 for additional unscheduled services; and 3. Exhibit B of the Agreement, entitled "Compensation Schedule", is hereby amended as attached in accordance with the terms set forth in Amendment No. 5; and 4. All other terms shall remain in full force and effect.
