<br /> <br />ARPA and CDBG Loan Agreement 7/1/2023 <br />Between City of San Leandro and Exhibit B <br />Building Futures with Women and Children Page 1 of 3 <br />EXHIBIT B <br />SCOPE OF WORK, SCHEDULE & BUDGET <br />Scope of Work: <br />Capitalized terms used in this Exhibit B without definition shall have the meaning ascribed to such terms in <br />the Agreement of which this Exhibit B is a part. <br /> <br />1. The funds approved under the Agreement shall only be used for capital improvements for the Project and <br />the Improvements identified in the Agreement and this Exhibit B. <br /> <br />2. The Participant shall follow all requirements and keep all records required pursuant to the Agreement, <br />including without limitation those set forth in Exhibit F. <br /> <br />3. The Participant shall comply with all requirements to include specified provisions and language in <br />construction contracts for work on the Project funded with CDBG Funds. <br /> <br />4. The Participant shall request any changes to the Scope of Work, Construction Schedule or Budget in <br />writing. The City Manager or his/her designee may approve requests at his/her discretion. <br /> <br />5. Work for which Participant may use City Loan: <br /> <br />Renovations to the San Leandro Shelter facilities located at 501 Davis Street including the following <br />activities: <br /> <br />• Update normal wear and tear to include the following items. <br />o INTERIOR Replacing the flooring and base in the common areas including kitchen, and in <br />dormitory as needed; painting walls and window frames in common area and dormitory. <br />o EXTERIOR Replacing exterior wood roof trim; replacing gutters, downspouts and misc. <br />roofing flashing as needed; repainting exterior wood window trim and flashing as needed; <br />repainting exterior stucco siding; re-roof exterior storage shed, carpentry and paint; repaint <br />exterior trash enclosure and replace side panels; repaint existing hand/guard rails. <br /> <br />6. Program Monitoring and Reporting <br /> <br /> The City will perform periodic and final site visits to ascertain that the approved Scope of Work is proceeding <br />properly and satisfactorily. City staff will monitor the performance of the Participant against goals and <br />performance standards stated in the Scope of Work. Substandard performance as determined by the City <br />will constitute noncompliance with the Agreement. Contract suspension or termination procedures will be <br />initiated if action to correct such substandard performance is not taken by the Participant within a reasonable <br />period of time after notification by the City. <br /> <br /> Participant shall submit to the City written quarterly and narrative reports during the duration of the <br />construction which shall be due on the fifteenth (15th) day of the month immediately following the report <br />quarter.
