Consulting Services Agreement between City of San Leandro and <br />Fehr and Peers for Marina Adaptive Traffic Signal <br />December 13, 2022 <br />Exhibit A Page A1 of 22 <br /> <br />EXHIBIT A <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br /> <br />Design Support During Construction: Marina Blvd Adaptive Signal System <br /> <br />Fehr & Peers has supported San Leandro with the preparation of construction documents for the Marina <br />Boulevard Adaptive Traffic Signal System. Fehr & Peers has prepared this proposal to provide design <br />support during the construction period. <br /> <br />Permit Support <br />Fehr & Peers will provide continued support towards securing an encroachment permit from Caltrans <br />(which expired since being first issued). This will consist of the following: <br />• Supporting the City’s response to comment <br />• Revising Plans and specifications up to two times in response to Caltrans comments; changes will <br />be clouded so that bidders can clearly see updates. <br /> <br />Construction Support <br />Fehr & Peers will provide the following services in support of the City during construction: <br />• Review of contractor equipment submittals to determine the extent to which they satisfy design <br />requirements <br />• Supporting City responses to contractor questions that arise during construction <br />• Attendance at up to two field meetings upon City request; these would be attended by me if <br />possible (travel costs from Texas would not be City responsibility and are not included in budget <br />request) and/or staff from Fehr & Peers’ local offices in Oakland or Walnut Creek <br />• Preparation of up to two revisions to design/construction documents in response to changes to <br />project scope, unforeseen construction conflicts or as otherwise directed by the City <br />• Preparation of record drawings based on contract-provided as-built markups. <br />DocuSign Envelope ID: EC596BB3-DE05-4F35-BA22-458C0FE3A227
