<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />June 9, 2023 <br />Via Email to DPollart@sanleandro.org <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />City of San Leandro, Public Works <br />14200 Chapman Road <br />San Leandro, CA 94578 <br /> <br />Attention: Debbie Pollart <br /> <br />Reference: San Leandro Marina Demolition – Former Blue Dolphin Restaurant Pier Structure <br /> <br />Subject: Bid Proposal – San Leandro Marina Demolition Phase 1 <br /> <br />McGuire and Hester (M&H) is pleased to provide the following bid proposal for the above referenced project. All <br />work will be per the clarifications and exclusions listed below. <br /> <br />McGuire and Hester proposes to furnish and install the work outlined below on a T&M <br />basis for the NTE estimate of $109,500.00. <br /> <br />EXCLUSIONS <br />1. Disposal fees for any materials stockpiled in the parking lot. (Disposal will be handled under Phase 2 of work) <br />2. Import of export of soils. <br />3. Relocation, protection and removal of existing utilities, sub-surface obstructions or debris. Existing site conditions post-fire are <br />unknown, and McGuire & Hester will identify and cap utilities as identified. Costs not currently carried in this proposal. <br />4. Dust control when our forces are not actively working on site. <br />5. Security when our forces are not actively working on site. <br />6. Air, settlement, vibration, sound, or other monitoring and mitigation. <br />7. Pre or post construction surveys (e.g. GPS, video, photographic, consultant, etc) <br />8. Tree trimming, root pruning, protection or arborist services. <br />9. Overtime, shift premiums, or liquidated damages. <br />10. Traffic and pedestrian control measures, plans, and fees. <br />11. Bond premium. Bonds must be requested at execution of contract. <br />12. Survey and construction staking. <br />13. Permits and fees. <br />14. Landscape or irrigation restoration. <br />15. Damage to existing shoreline and/or marina parking lot due to debris removal.
