IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO RESOLUTION NO. 2023-110 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL IMPOSING 2023 LIENS FOR NON-PAYMENT OF DELINQUENT SOLID WASTE SERVICE CHARGES, SIDEWALK REPAIR CHARGES, CAL EPA CUPA SURCHARGE FEES, BUILDING CODE VIOLATION AND CODE COMPLIANCE CITATION FEES, AND WATER POLLUTION CONTROL PLANT COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL USER AND CONNECTION CHARGES WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro City Council reviewed the Reports of the Finance Director and bearing List No. 2023-001 for solid waste fees and charges, List No. 2023-002 for sidewalk repairs, List No. 2023-003 for CUPA fees, List No. 2023-004 for code enforcement, List No. 2023-005 for code compliance, and List No. 2023-006 WPCP user charges, copies of which are attached hereto and incorporated herein. All of said charges are currently unpaid and delinquent; and WHEREAS, pursuant to the San Leandro Municipal Code, notice was duly given of the time and place of hearing on said delinquent charges and upon any objections or protest by any of the property owners liable to be liened for non-payment of such delinquent charges; and WHEREAS, said hearing was regularly set for the hour of 6:30 p.m. on July 17, 2023; and WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro City Council has heard and passed on objections and protests of the property owners liable to be assessed for charges. NOW, THEREFORE, the City of San Leandro City Council does RESOLVE as follows: That the City of San Leandro City Council confirms the Reports of the Finance Director concerning non- payment of City service charges and bearing list numbers 2023-001, 2023-002, 2023-003, 2023-004, 2023- 005, and 2023-006; and IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that said assessments of delinquent charges of the City of San Leandro are hereby approved and confirmed and a lien is hereby imposed upon said real property in the amount set therein; and IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that a notice of lien shall be delivered to the County Auditor, who shall enter the amount thereof on the County Assessment Book opposite the description of the particular property and the amount shall be collected together with all other taxes thereon against the property.
