IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2023-111 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL OVERRULING PROTESTS RELATED TO NON- <br />PAYMENT OF DELINQUENT SOLID WASTE SERVICE CHARGES, SIDEWALK REPAIR CHARGES, CAL EPA <br />CUPA SURCHARGE FEES, BUILDING CODE VIOLATION AND CODE COMPLIANCE CITATION FEES, AND <br />WATER POLLUTION CONTROL PLANT COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL USER AND <br />CONNECTION CHARGES <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro City Council conducted a public hearing on the assessments <br />proposed to be levied for non-payment of delinquent 2023 solid waste service charges, sidewalk repair, <br />Certified Unified Program Agency (CUPA) fees, code compliance and enforcement along with administrative <br />penalties and charges said hearing conducted at 6:30 p.m. on July 17, 2023; and <br />WHEREAS, at or before the time set for hearing, owners or persons in possession of the property <br />described in the Report of the Finance Director made protests or objections to the proposed assessments. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City of San Leandro City Council does RESOLVE as follows: <br />That each of these protests or objections, written or oral, are hereby overruled. <br />Introduced by Councilmember Aguilar and passed and adopted this 17th day of July 2023, by the <br />following vote: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Aguilar, Azevedo, Ballew, Bowen, Reynes, and Mayor Gonzalez (6) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Simon (1) <br />ATTEST: a�' ?,. ua'wj� <br />Kelly B. ncy, CIVIC <br />City Clerk <br />
