<br />Consulting Services Agreement between City of San Leandro and Hort Science Bartlett Consulting <br />for Memorial Park Improvements Exhibit A – Page 1 of 1 <br />EXHIBIT A <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />This contract is to provide consulting services to provide Construction Administration. The scope of work <br />includes services to provide consultation and monitoring reports regarding tree preservation during <br />construction phase following San Leandro requirements for tree monitoring and reporting. <br /> <br />Scope of Work: <br />The scope of work for this contract includes the following tasks: <br />1. Provide arboricultural consultation as requested to evaluate construction plans and site work with regard <br />to tree preservation, prepare and augment Tree Preservation Guidelines, and provide recommendations <br />regarding trees during construction. <br /> <br />2. Upon request from the City, attend one pre-construction and project team meeting. Review tree <br />protection measures called out in the Tree Protection Plan with the project team. <br /> <br />3. Visit the project site on a bi-weekly basis (twice a month for 3 months) during demolition, grading, and <br />trenching to monitor compliance with the Tree Protection Zone and the Tree Preservation Guidelines <br />described in the Tree Protection Plan. <br /> <br />4. Visit the project site every month throughout the remainder of construction. Based on a 12-month <br />anticipated construction period, up to 15 visits are anticipated. <br /> <br />5. Maintain records of activity adjacent to trees, tree responses to impacts, communications regarding trees <br />with City, City’s consultants and contractors, and actions taken. <br /> <br />Deliverables: <br /> <br />Provide a written monitoring report with photographs and recommendations for tree protection and <br />treatment within three working days following each site visit. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />DocuSign Envelope ID: E0FBB3F3-86B7-41E0-8947-63C426EDD2D6
