(b) Total Household Income. <br />3.1.2 The Owner shall make a good faith effort to verify that the income <br />provided by an applicant or occupying household in an income <br />certification is accurate by taking one or more of the following steps as a <br />part of the verification process: (1) obtain a pay stub for the most recent <br />pay period; (2) obtain an income tax return for the most recent tax year; <br />(3) conduct a credit agency or similar search; (4) obtain an income <br />verification form from the applicant's current employer; (5) obtain an <br />income verification form from the Social Security Administration and/or <br />the California Department of Social Services if the applicant receives <br />assistance from either of such agencies; or (6) if the applicant is <br />unemployed and has no such tax return, obtain another form of <br />independent verification. <br />3.1.3 Owner shall retain such certificates for not less than three (3) years, and <br />within fifteen (15) business days of the City's written request, shall make <br />the originals available for inspection by City and if so requested by the <br />City, shall provide copies of such certificates to City. <br />3.2 Annual Report; Inspections. No later than the ninetieth (90th) day of each year <br />after the close of each fiscal year of the City during the Term, commencing with <br />the year following the initial leasing of the Restricted Units, Owner shall submit <br />an annual report ("Annual Report") to the City in form reasonably satisfactory to <br />City, together with a certification that the Project is in compliance with the <br />requirements of this Agreement. <br />3.2.1 Owner shall submit to the City such Annual Report: <br />(a) Not later than the ninetieth (90) day after the close of each fiscal <br />year of the City; and <br />(b) Within fifteen (15) days after receipt of a written request, any other <br />information or completed forms reasonably requested by City in <br />order to comply with reporting requirements of the State of <br />California. <br />3.2.2 The Annual Report shall, at a minimum, include the following information <br />for each dwelling unit in the Project: <br />(a) Unit number; <br />(b) Current rent and other charges; <br />(c) Dates of any vacancies during the previous year; <br />(d) Number of people residing in the unit; <br />Affordable Housing Regulatory Agreement — Centro Callan <br />November 28, 2022 <br />
